Dr. Ali Syed
Dr. Ali Zakir Syed is a Diplomate (Board Certified), American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He is an Assistant Professor and Director of Radiology, Director of Admitting Clinic in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, Cleveland, OH.
His research interests include 3-D digital imaging, implant radiology, and applications of cone beam computed tomography in dentistry. So far, he has published more than 25 manuscripts.
He is a peer reviewer for oral surgery, oral medicine, oral pathology and radiology for the journal, Quintessence International, American Journal of Orthodontics. He is also a member of the editorial board for the journal, Imaging Sciences in Dentistry.
The division of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology has been providing cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) interpreting service for the past 7 years to the local dental community and across the USA as well.
